Hispano Spedition is insolvent and will be closed

Hispano Speditions GmbH from St. Georgen am Ybbsfelde, Lower Austria is insolvent. It has liabilities of EUR 1.61 million and assets of around EUR 533,000. The bankruptcy affects 12 employees and about 80 business partners, according to the association for the protection of creditors AKV Europa and Creditreform.

The international forwarding company based in Hermannsdorf 2a has emerged from the UCL Hispano Speditions GmbH by Karl Kralowetz. This company became bankrupt in 2002. A scandal about non-compliance with rest periods shocked the European freight forwarding industry at that time.

The debtor states that it has become insolvent due to internal disputes, enticement of customers and tax audit procedures. The shareholder of the debtor is the Luxembourg-based Medicon SA., whose authorized officer is Karl Kralowetz. The company is to be closed.

Lawyer Johann Huber from Melk was appointed as liquidator. Creditors can register their claims until March 12th, 2019. The first hearing will be on March 26th, 2019.

The bankruptcy does not affect the Kralowetz forwarding company of Rainer Kralowetz.
